The town is very nice. One pedestrian friendly main road leading to the big church with stores and restaurants.

It's a hilltop town with a great view

Me and the boys used to always roll. I remember I was walking around in a Pacers Fred Hoiberg jersey and someone walking by knew him, snapped a pic and texted it to Hoiberg while he was coaching a first round game.

One time, we gave our friend who was a math wiz $50 bucks each. He multiplied it quick at the blackjack table and it paid for a Cabana to watch games the next day, stocked with food and booze at the Mandalay Bay with money left over for drinks later that night at the club. Shit was like that scene in the Hangover where Alan pulled a Rainman.

Unfortunately, the "boys" group got smaller and more whipped, me included. So haven't been in a few. To be fair, the basketball was a cover to go hit the clubs and scam on chicks.

@BLAZINGGIANTS what do you use for Safe Travels for Hawaii? I just signed up for Clear to upload vaxx info. Linked it to the Safe Travels, hopefully it works well.

I guess you just bring the QR code they email you to show them?

Definitely do the Safe Travels site. I haven't dealt with Clear through their site, but Safe Travels, upload your trip data, upload your vax card and details, and then within 24 hours of whichever flight first lands you into Hawaii, you need to log back into Safe Travels for their health survey. Also, you will want to do the pre-screen for the flight that takes you into Hawaii. There, you go and take the pre-screen and get a wristband so you don't have to quarantine or take a test upon arrival in Hawaii. So, when we go into SFO to go to Kona, we take a the pre-screen in SFO. When we go into Seattle and then to Kona, we pre-screen in Seattle. When I've gone from PDX (via Alaska Airlines) direct to Kona, I pre-screen at PDX.

    What's your route?

It's all pretty easy. But a minor mistake/oversight can cost you two hours of your life. Happy to offer guidance, grasshopper.

I think they stopped doing the questionnaire. I'm flying LAX to HNL. I have my QR code on safe travels, just need to be screened at airport. I think with clear you get a separate lane.

Yeah, looks like they just stopped the questionnaire. Was there when I went a few weeks back but appears to be gone. If you hadn’t done, it was causing chaos in the lines for airport pre-screening. Fucking noobs need to learn the rules, then fly, FAMS!

Also, with Clear…. I don’t fly into HNL, but the lanes in Hawaii, in general, are limited/consolidated. In Kona, you’re either cleared to avoid quarantine/covid test and go to baggage or you go through the big process….

Gonna switch this up. Now we are flying roundtrip to Barcelona with a side trip during the week to Ibiza. :NOTMARIS:

These fares going to europe are sneaky man. They nickle and dime you for everything.

Oh yeah, so I also committed to going to Vegas the weekend before this Eurotrip too for a friends bday/couples meet up. They wanted to go see Bruno Mars, but it was like $400 a ticket, so we're gonna skip that part of the weekend.

@BLAZINGGIANTS every fly Swiss Airlines? I'm thinking of booking my flight to spain on Swiss with the connection in Zurich and the return on Lufthansa with the connection in Munich. They seem to be two highly rated airports.

Lufthansa has a top notch reputation. Never had any dealings with Swissair.

lufthansa is the best airline I’ve ever flown. Their value airline, Kondor, is solid and you can often book business class with them for the same price as economy with Lufthansa. I’ve only flown Swiss Air once and it was a great experience. KLM is solid for inter-Euro travel.

I think Ryan Air and Vueling are the only flights to Ibiza. I'll look around a bit more but any experience with either?

Yeah, they are all strict. I took easyJet a while back and my fam who I was traveling with had to check in their carryons. I packed light and with a small bag so I was all good
