Florida's don't say gay bill now has an addendum requiring school personnel to inform parents if a student is LGBTQ. A provision making an exception if the disclosure could result in parental abuse or abandonment was removed. So a student with hostile parents would not be able to talk to a teacher or counselor. The idea is absolutely to cause maximum harm. The free state of Florida is not free for anyone not straight, white & Christian.
That's a terrible invasion of privacy. So all parents would be notified if a LGBTQ student were present in the school?
What didn't make sense? ABM asked my theory of his god. I have none. He isn't my god. He has no part in my life. I also have no theory of Bhagavad Gita. Among others.
No. Sometimes not. If parents are very hostile child might hide orientation. But want to talk to a trusted teacher. Teacher would be legally forced to violate confidentiality even if there was good reason to believe student would face abuse, being thrown out of the house, sent to be "cured". Do you know parents have arranged lesbian daughters to be raped under the notion it would make them hetero?
Right. That's a terrible violation of confidentiality I agree. No I hadn't heard that. That's disgusting and ignorant.
What didn't make sense: 1) @SlyPokerDog posted a twitter or such of Amy 2.0 intimating, perhaps joking, that Jesus was killed by a police state. 2) I rebutted that, indeed Jesus was NOT killed by a police state, but by a religious sect within his own people, the Jews. 3) @crandc rebutted, when all else fails, blame the Jews. 4) I rebutted that Jesus was a Jew, and is my all-time hero. 5) crandc rebutted that Jesus was an observant Jew who didn't stop his own followers from massacring Jews nor storming the Capitol. Which, if true, still doesn't paint them as a police state. They were controlled by the Romans. 6) I then quoted scripture to provide perspective and help back up my initial remarks regarding Jesus not being killed by a police state. 7) crandc rebutted that there is a difference between religious dogma and historical fact. Then comes the shift: I was simply responding to, and rebutting, Sly's silly post regarding Jesus being killed by a police state and you want to twist it into an argument, somehow claiming that Jesus somehow led an insurrection and/or other conflated issues?
And of course white Jesus opposes family planning and hates gays and rich people paying taxes, but loves guns.
