multiple reporters have said the interest is mutual. And he’s already said himself he wants to stay in that Quick article. Portland is team Klutch anyway.
Yep! The process worked for Philly. It has worked elsewhere. Portland has seen it's share of awful injuries. Tanking is what it is. It has nothing to do with character, karma, or anything else. It's become a business model to add pieces to compete and become a potential contender. It's not just a rebuilding model anymore. Use it , or lose it. It's all about the plan.
The best UFA this summer after LaVine. Has to be something behind the scenes. If he continued the way he was playing, a 20 mil/yr offer from someone was not out of reach.
There’s probably a number he’s already gotten from the team that he is okay with. His agent is Rich Paul. Paul has probably already scouted the market for possible suitors in the off-season. Barring something crazy, Nurk already had his next contract mostly negotiated.
absolutely NO WAY i think. He needs the reps and I think Chauncey wants him to work out all the kinks now.
Hell no--Simons is going all-in for MIP, and earning himself a max deal. A strong final two months could even set the stage for a potential all-star berth next year. Zero chance he takes any time off voluntarily.
We absolutely cannot let some fleeting win streak influence the direction of the team. That’s how we got locked into mediocrity with the Turner, Harkless, Leonard and Crabbe deals that derailed 4 years of Dames prime. If this was Olshey, we would be signing veterans on the buyout market now…
Well shit. Now to goin back around to the other side of the tank. Lol. Im sooo fricken dizzy this season!!!!!!!
This takes a lot of pressure off Chauncey. Everyone knows that no matter what happens the rest of the season, they more than likely will have Dame, Little, and Nurk to add next year. Much better atmosphere for the players as well even if they are losing. I still think they will play hard and win some games, but Nurk was playing really well during this small win streak. Hard to imagine that they will play as well without him.
