That condition does get worse and to the point you couldn't play w/o an injection.

Much different. Now it’s a problem and it doesn’t go away.
This is just another injury for Nurk. Don’t think for a second this guy can stay healthy. It’s now enough of an injury of concern he can’t play on it.

Doesn't go away? Weird, I guess I still have plantar fascitis, but must just be super pain resistant.
You honestly think this is about pain and not tanking?

So your opinion on this is that Nurk in a contract year has already secretly struck a deal with either the Blazers or a different team and now is refusing to play? Or is it that Chauncey doesn’t want to play him? Or is it that management has orchestrated all this to get a draft pick?

As far as yours going away you obviously dealt with it. You didn’t continue to play your NBA schedule and push your 270 lb body up and down the basketball court.

So it couldn’t be that they were thinking about tomorrow’s game and announcing who would be playing and who would be on the injury list also that they just picked up a 10 day contract?

That management is shutting him down to increase odds of getting a high pick to use as an asset.

So now you think he should come back and play in two weeks?

It would be 48 days until a play-in game. Both Nurkic and Lillard should be healthy by then. If Nurkic is really only out for one month.
It will be hard to tank completely. We have the 2nd easiest schedule remaining.

nurk is in a contract season, so there are two ways to look at this:

    a) he really needs to be out for a month in order to sort out the injury
    b) they already agreed on a new deal and therefore agreed to keep him out in order to get those picks they wanted (they couldve keep playing him and bring dame back too in order to get into the playoffs)

but given hes been playing with this since september, i tend to believe he couldve play through it until the end of the season, especially in a contract season when he was playing his best bball... trail blazers want to re-sign him, he wants to re-sign, so if both parties found a number theyre happy with, why not agree to a deal now, instead of risking an injury or losing him in free agency, as you never know what can happen

eubanks being signed is correlation with nurk being out

they had watford as nurks back up, so they wouldnt signed eubanks, so it seems like an obvious plan

Have you ever had Plantar Fasciitis? It sucks. But you can play on it. If we were playing for anything meaningful he would be out there.

It can get bad enough to sideline a person if he doesn't rest it for some time. When I had bad flare ups I couldn't run for at least 3-4 weeks. Sure if its in a moderate stage you can endure and take meds to help.

I'm not sure about why there is a debate.
EVERY nba player plays with some sort of injury. Foot injuries are a way of life. It's probably not James Edwards gastritis, but It is very unlikely that he wouldn't play if we were 4th seed pushing for a 2 seed. The tank doesn't need him, and his foot probably does have some pain.

    Yes, I've had PF.

If this roster sans Simons isn't tanking......
