The problem with winning wars is the lunatics start them and everyone is playing catch up. Eventually the lunatics lose but the cost is heavy. I’m sure everyone was very clear on sanctions before this started and he still did it. So reasoning is a lost cause. Bottom line is the lunatic has nukes. This is when you honestly need your best James Bond/Mission Impossibles to take him out like ten years ago.

Probably not a argument worth having because she is right and you have a legitimate point and obviously were just using a standard phrase, but everybody has issues that are important to them. I can guarantee you that Chechens fighting for Ukraine will be fighting harder than the Russian Chechens. They have a long memory of what Russia did to Chechnya.

Ukraine is not a NATO member, they have applied but not a member. Plus Biden stated the US would not send troops to Ukraine, before this escalation.
