Think of the worst Democrat you can think of, or group of Dems who are the worst. Then think of the worst of the Republicans. Who do you want to side with? It’s an easy, easy call.

Former US President Donald Trump defended his praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday while also calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “a brave man” amid Russia’s deadly invasion of his country.

“He’s a brave man, he’s hanging in,” Trump said of Zelensky in remarks at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, even as he declined to back away from complimenting Putin as “smart.”

“The problem is not that Putin is smart, which, of course, he’s smart,” Trump said. “The problem is that our leaders are dumb… and so far, allowed him to get away with this travesty and assault on humanity.”
“Putin is playing [President Joe] Biden like a drum and it’s not a pretty thing to watch,” he continued.

All countries that profess to oppose this invasion should close their air space to all Russian aircraft - military or commercial. They should also close their ports and national waters. Anything and everything to under cut the Russian economy.

How they regulate them doesn't matter. The fact is they are available, and they didn't have to hand out nearly as many because of that.

I just can't see Marco Rubio saying this at all. Was this written for him and left as a signature piece?

I agree with you because i fall in line with what you believe but think about that statement? If you don't think something is wrong then you could understand why when they aren't "The Worst". They are the best. If you side with people who like to prance around with white hoods on and think they are good people then the people who don't do that are vile to you. It's the same when People in the middle east look at Americans in general and say "Infidel".
I know people who feel "Antifa" are absolutely the worse people in this country. I know people who are dead set that anyone who voted for Biden right now need to be the first to send their children to war if this all turn into WW3. These same people simply cannot wrap their mind around the idea that it was the Trump organization that set this all up. They feel it was Hunter Biden and those child eating Clinton's that have brought us to where we are in the world. You do remember Hillary was who sold all of the Uranium to Russia right? (yes i know it's not right). You do know that Hillary had Jeffery Epstein killed to hide her world order right? I understand it's painful but once you sell out to an idea it's very hard to go back and say you have been wrong for the last Five, Ten years or in some cases generations.

Sunday was pretty quiet, I believe Russia spent the day adding troops, armor and supplies. Ukraine holds the major cities but Russians are pretty much free to go where they want in the rest of the country. Ukraine is stretched very thin. Mariupol in the south is almost surrounded and there are some units in the east that might be in danger of getting cut off. I wonder if they shouldn't use these units to attack the backside of Russian troops attacking Kharkiv? I think they need to be creative in their tactics although just staying entrenched is working out well so far.
Negotiations between a Russian and Ukrainian delegation have begun at the border with Belarus; I don't expect anything to come out of this.

Here is a new twist. So maybe they can get help without politicians giving the OK?
    https://www.businessinsider.com/ukraine-international-legion-foreigners-join-fight-2022-2

Ukraine is establishing an International Legion for foreigners who want to come and fight against Russia, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday.

"Anyone who wants to join the defense of Ukraine, Europe and the world can come and fight side by side with the Ukrainians against the Russian war criminals," the statement on the presidential website said.

According to the Regulations on Military Service in the Armed Forces by Foreigners and Stateless Persons, approved in 2016, foreigners can volunteer for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces

"A separate subdivision is being formed of foreigners entitled the International Legion for the Territorial Defense of Ukraine. There is no greater contribution which you can make for the sake of peace," the statement said.

This video shows the damage Ukrainian artillery did in destroying over 100 Russian tanks and other vehicles just outside Kiev. Ukraine has become quite proficient in artillery from the 8 years of war along their border with the occupied territories.
