You see this is the kind of thing that makes it impossible to hold anything that you actually take over. Even if Putin is successful the ramifications of his actions will last and the locals will never stop fighting. If they win they have lost the Ukraine. If they lose they have lost the Ukraine. Doesn't matter anymore.
Maybe as reason for delay in West responding to Putin was ABM's preferred candidate, Trump, groveling before Putin, saying he trusts Putin more than US intelligence, trying to blackmail Ukraine for dirt on Biden, and big chunk of American conservatives praising Putin as great Christian because Russia persecutes gays.
Winnipeg & Regina at local old bars. It was something done in the past from what I understand. Both were in basements. Basically tile wall and trench that had running water & flowed down an incline and down a drain. Been a number of years back in Winnipeg, International Hotel near the airport. Think its holiday in now? Ive seen it also in billings at old hotels/bars. My comment about liberating was made in jest as that's how many of the locals I worked with felt many in BC & Alberta, thought they had more in common with NW States and that Ottawa, they felt underrepresented? Albertans especially with all their oil contributions. Just like here there are attitudes against other regions for various reasons. Love my Canadian friends!

Funny. You schmuckl! On a side note, we just moved to a new community. I'm really pleased that there appears to be many more black folks than white, etc. I love living in a multi-racial environment. Pasty white neighborhoods are borrring! Everyone is super friendly here.
