Not sure why BGD keeps linking to the same press conference though.

This is so terribly sad. Russia is becoming North Korea before our very eyes. All the people living this nightmare, after living with relative freedom before this, must be incredibly depressed right now.

I also think China's real intentions are becoming more evident. Everyone was worried they were going to go all in on Taiwan and really start ww3. It seems now that they are working on an economic takeover of Russia. It appears they are buying up all Russian commodities for pennies on the dollar and working on "investing" in all Russia's major corporations. When the dust settles Russia will be a vassal state of China. Image how much of a force china will be in a few years after they own Russia's natural resources.....

Very sad. It's hard to pity Russia with this going on, but I'm sure a majority of their citizens deserve it with how their freedoms are being trampled on.

Yeh, it's a little discouraging that we can't all be together on this.

Maybe Putin should have got his head out of his ass and done a little reading over the last 8 years; he would have known things were a lot different now.

Terrifying... And they've been doing this with many African countries as well, have they not?

LMAO, anybody who doesn't support Ukraine, or finds that they are uncomfortable by doing so is an asshole and I have no sympathy at all for them. They can get fucked.

More evidence of fringe right wing associating "left policies" with support for Ukraine. The divide is happening right now and this will be more mainstream very soon.

Between endemic corruption and traditional Russian xenophobia I suspect China would soon suffer buyer's remorse.
