And you know it's about that hard. Sometimes boys and girls fall in love, sometimes two boys, sometimes two girls.

I agree. This guy was ranked like 400+ nationally when he was swimming as a man but he goes and changes to swimming against women and he is now ranked #1?
Who cannot see this is a problem? I'll bet the lady who is #2 feels a bit short changed? Anyone worried about what she might be feeling? Interesting that none of these "Transgender People" ever seem to want to compete as men after being a woman?

Agreed. The given sport should be allowed to set their requirements.

It's unfortunate that some people may be left out, but I just don't see a fair way around it.

I’m confused by this. Are they saying that if there wasn’t women sports a woman would never win in sports again?

I was reading an interesting debate on Reddit on removing gendered sports entirely and having skill based leagues. I don’t think it’s really a good idea though. How many leagues would there be? How do schools pay for that? My thought has always been that womens sports were created to give women an equal chance to participate and compete. Same can be said for womens college sports.

Agreed. With regards to sports, women and men are biologically different, and sports are largely a physical test.

Of course your mind can overcome some physical limitations, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

Sports should be allowed to require medical proof of birth gender for all athletes. Though athletes should be allowed to play up to a more competitive league or division regardless of gender, as long as they can compete.

I disagree. If we are going to classify transgender women as women, then they should be women in all aspects, so they should have access to women's sports if they can use the women's restroom.

They can't selectively enforce if someone classifies as a woman or not. You either are or you're not.

This is what I agree with:

If transgender women are women, then they should be able to compete in women's sports.

I think we need leagues based on attractiveness. Attractive people playing with attractive people. Uggos playing with uggos. I think it would spice things up.
