Have not seen him play a whole lot yet, but I really like his game. Excellent handles, nice perimeter touch, and can score off the dribble. Plays with impressive confidence, despite a lack of experience in college. Needs to make sure that knee stays strengthened and healthy.
Don’t even care about the less than ideal FG%, this kid is a problem. He gets to wherever he wants. Doing a better job of protecting the ball too, hasn’t had more than two turnovers in his last four games. The free throw percentage going into this game was a fluke too, guy was an 85% shooter in the g league, so it’s nice to see it turn.
The big problem is going to be if the kid ruins our lotto pick while playing himself onto another team. I'm all for giving kids like this a chance, but these wins are already meaningless, they can become actual negatives if the development on these kids ends up helping other teams...
Must've missed that, I thought we were still stringing him along on 10-days, that makes me feel slightly better about yesterday's meaningless win...
yeah I actually wonder if they would try and lock him up to a value deal like they did Watford. He's clearly good enough to play in the NBA. Either way, we dont have to worry about losing him just yet lol
