Been happy with the 2022 Kia Sorento. It's hybrid, but I'm digging it. 35-40mpg and seats 6. 600 mile range between fill ups. There is a 7-seater option, but it wasn't available when we purchased. The lane keeping and adaptive cruise are fantastic. Driving in traffic is no longer stressful. Like at all. In traffic the car almost literally drives itself... Thinking we may upgrade to the EV9 in a year or two (looks awesome). And they are talking about an electric pickup in 2026... Might be time to swap in the 06 Ram by then if Kia keeps it up. Unless I jump for the Ford Lightning before then...
This Ioniq is great. I'd totally get one if they weren't marked up $3k with dealer add on accessories. 600 mile range on a tank of gas and its probably better than that. I drove probably 50 miles up Mullholland Drive in the hills last night, through hollywood near downtown, and the range only decreased by 15 miles.
I already placed an order for a camry. Deposit is non-refundable. I did go through Costco. There are only 2 Ioniq's within 50 miles of me right now.
Make sure you get a child car seat and the My Kid is on the Honor Roll bumper sticker so you can go full cuck.
I'm normcore. I have a shit ton of 32 degrees polo shirts like that, mainly for work. Nowadays, I just wear black v-necks and lululemon pants (not the yoga ones, license to train pants)
My buddy in high school had something like that, or at least his dad did. He borrowed it on the last day of school senior year and we just went cruising around Portland in it after getting out.
So I'm selling my car back to them and should have a couple/few thousand in hand for my next vehicle. Want to avoid having a payment if possible. What's my move now? Police auctions?
