This is why some Portland fans are underestimating Hart and Winslow. You need these gritty guys that love to get grimey. Alvarado and Jones are those gritty guys for NO.

Cronin is responsible for Devin Booker's hamstring?

Just finished watching all 4 Sunday games. New favorite players: Herb Jones and Grand Theft Alvarado. Also- CJ and Steph Curry are trash. Well at least CJ can make a wide open 3 in the clutch. That’s more than you can say for Steph. How much time did he need to line up that brick? BonesJones would’ve made that shot.

You’re just watching the wrong games. He’s Dame-like fun in the clutch a lot. Game 3 was vintage Trae. The second play-in game was classic Trae. He had a lot of great games in playoffs last year. He’s Reggie Miller like in that he lives for pressure and drama. You’re just watching at the wrong times I guess.

You just watched four games and you came up with "CJ is trash"? Go ask Brandon Ingram if CJ is trash. While you're at it as Jonas as well.

As I never tire of saying, I wanted us to draft this guy instead of Anfernee. As people never tire of saying in reply, "he's nearly 3 years older!" Okay, but take this as a sign of how much Anfernee might command in free agency...

Maybe if we're lucky that will work in our favor in contract negotiations this summer. "We love you Ant, you're great--but you're no Jalen Brunson..."

Hart I'll give you. I love me some Josh Hart. But it's hard for Winslow to be gritty on the injury list. If only he and Nas could arrange to be injured at exactly opposite times we might get one useful forward out of the two of them.

I just looked up Herb Jones's draft profile from last year (The Athletic). They call him a "genuine plus defender" but knock him down because of a lack of jump shot, and compare him to... Justice Winslow.
(They had him ranked at 28, 7 places below Keon Johnson, FWIW. They had Trendon Watson ranked #75!)

    I didn't hear the chant....I'm skeptical

but to your point, they should be chanting C-O-V-I-D because without it they are in 11th in the lottery

Poor Clippers. Nobody cares even if they are failures.

Alvarado is one of those fan favorite/untouchable players. I remember when CJ was there before.

    Almost universally Alvarado is loved.

    CJ always had detractors.

You keep trying and trying, and you never get it quite right.

Doesn't look so great for CJ's efficiency but Ingram has said time and time again, including last night that he's never had a teammate that took more attention away from him and Larry had a helluva great game off the bench. For Larry going three for three with seven boards, three assists, no turnovers and a steal all while leading the team in bench minutes and +/- off of the bench is pretty damn good.

I think when he says that Ingram is talking like he's the first option with CJ taking attention off of him. I don't think that's how he viewed himself when he played with LeBron.
