    A January 2022 survey by Center for Public Affairs Research at University of Chicago found 30 point gap in confidence in science between Democrats and Republicans. A similar, though smaller, gap in confidence in medicine.
    While confidence in religion was unchanged among Republicans since 2018, among Democrats it dropped.
