If we like Murray that much, we can use #7 and change for a swap. If not, maybe just take Sochan.

Stop the #7 for Grant. That's wayyyyy too much for him. Especially since Detroit needs him off their books. I think Keegan Murray, or Jalen Duren will be the pick. And either will be a keeper.

What’s up with the Tari Eason slide? He was top 10 and now seeing him slip to out of the lottery. Showed great improvement year over year and a very good all around player.

lets see if anyone will impress cronin/chauncey (will dame be there), maybe we keep the 7th pick in that case

lets hope chauncey has an eye for talent/potential (he showed he knows how to work with and develop young players)

It's really a fluid draft but the next few days could solidify some of that. Especially if the top guys do drills and even moreso if they play in the scrimages. I doubt Chet, Paolo and Jabari will play in the scrimages but they have to be trying to outdo each other so they just might. I think Shaedon Sharpe has to do everything so he can try to jump up into the top 4. Imagine if Murray doesn't do something and both Eason and Sochan dominate the scrimages. Murray could take a pretty big slide. This draft has players so close together in talent that every opportunity these guys get to set themselves apart they should take.

This phenomenon is why I'm definitely for trading back so we can get the talent that slips into our hands and appease Dame by bringing in Grant... who for the record I think would be a much better fit as the second or third option next to Dame than CJ ever was.

I would be happy as heck if Murray was our pick at 7.

I remember Dame's combine. Because there was talk of the Blazers being interested, i watched the combine, and was blown away by his ability. Shooting, speed, quickness, and desire. He was amazing and stood way out that year. Dame dropped to 6. The Unidufus was 1, but Dame should have gone 2, worst case. The team will do their homework, and hopefully find that gem.

I'd like to see a list of Multi-year Allstars taken at 7 or later Just off this list you have Chris Mullins, Damon Stoudamire, Richard Hamilton, Stephen Curry (!!!!!!), and Murray, Randle, and Barnes are all borderline all-star type guys in their best seasons.

Recall guys like Draymond Green, Kawhi Leonard, Giannis and many, many other All-Stars and even MVPs have been taken at 7 or later. All is not lost. We need to scout well and trade well if it comes to that. I like these trade-down for multiple pick ideas in this draft and go for Duren.

Someone will drop. A Euro or a young freshman will excel during the workouts and rise. Most teams are smart enough to draft for who will be the best as opposed to who is right now.
After the top 3-4, the next 10 all have similar potential
