Ok. Play smart hockey here. Go into the intermission with the 2 goal lead. Don’t give up a cheap goal.

I hear ya, but something tells me he wouldn't back down from a fight with anyone...even Reaves, who has 6" and about 40 lbs on him (if not more).

He’s a coward which is why he sucker punched Georgie and was thrown off the team. He’s a punk. You can see he’s scared. Watch at the 1:30 mark. The puck is in the corner and there’s a Ranger player coming towards him and he softly plays the puck and actually turns it over immediately. He’s a soft ass punk player.

Great first period. Need to keep driving play in the second and no shells tonight!

Super important 2nd period. Can’t take any stupid penalties. Canes are gonna come out like their hair is on fire and will try to be physical and are gonna ramp up their forecheck. Have to have all 5 players back checking and playing smart in the dzone.

Couldn't ask for a better 1st period really. A couple prime scoring chances for Canes but Igor holds them off. Keep pressing the action and making smart passes. Don't turn the puck over and limit the time in the d-zone.

Good period. I still don't get why Kakko is on the fourth line though.

It seems like for the entire playoffs our team consistently stays out there too long when they have a chance to change lines in the second period. It’s one thing if we are pinned in, it’s another thing when you get the puck into the ozone and you still don’t change. That’s been a major Achilles heel of this team…guys playing too long of shifts and then getting caught out there for a 2 minute shift unnecessarily.

Big last 5 minutes here. Canes have had the better play thus far. Need to keep it 2-0 at least going into this intermission.
