watch a baseball game? it's about 4 hours long and has 30 minutes of action...and half of the action is the pitcher's wind-up, and 3/4 of what's remaining are balls and strikes I have some paint drying...meet you there
Have fun with your paint! I'm just trying to root for my team. That's what we're all here doing anyway, isn't it?!
I don't have that either. I'll actually be on the road when the game starts tonight, so sounds like I'll be listening on 1240 KEJO!
I wasn't trashing the beavers (you'll know when I am), I was trashing baseball as TV spectator sport. but if you like baseball, I'd strongly recommend you watch the documentary: The Battered Bastards of Baseball. It's excellent...and it's not boring https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Battered_Bastards_of_Baseball it's available on netfilx and amazon prime
It is a basketball forum first and foremost, so I understand the trashing of my favorite sport... I've seen it and it is good. Boring is a matter of opinion. Go Beavs!
Looks like the Ducks lost to Arizona today. Beavs should be playing in a couple of hours. Probably be 102 in Scottsdale at the start of the game. Late afternoon is absolutely the worst time to start a ball game there at this time of year.
They didn't deserve to be a 4 seed. How many pitchers do you think the Beavs will use today in this hot weather? I'm going with 3.
Beavers used 5 throwing 164 pitches Huskies used 6 throwing 229 pitches Pretty dominant being the Beavers didn't bat in the 9th.
Yes, they play today. I think its TBD because their start time depends on the length of the other games being played today.
Looks like the Ducks lost their first 2 and are out. Too bad for them. Good that we have a late game tonight so it can cool down a little bit. I don't like the idea of having the baseball tournament in Scottsdale in late May. Way too hot.
I agree. I once caught (as in playing the catcher position, insert gay jokes here) a double header in 100+ degree temperature and I legit thought I was going to die.
The only sign of intelligence in Eugene is the sign telling you how many miles Corvallis is from Eugene.
