Yep. Because people are getting desperate and fear what is happening with our fringe right lunatics. It’s perfect for gun lovers. “You’ll need guns to protect yourselves!” “Uh from who?” “Us!” Ok, better run out and get a gun
Hence this country’s pathetic infatuation and obsession with guns. Which isn’t the issue of course. Just bad healthcare and we are just stressed out.
The Federal Uniform Drinking Age of 1984 was passed. Why, in this 1st world country, can we not pass The Federal Uniform Firearm Age of 2022. Bump it up to 21 at the very fucking least?!?
3D printers are not that common. It's not something most people have access to. Damn, some of those guns shops are right next to others.
I'm not suggesting giving up though. I'm suggesting getting something done that could actually help before the next time a classroom full of grade schoolers is gunned down... Those issues were about protecting rights, not restricting them. I think that's a big difference. And in uncertain times people tend to want to expand gun rights, not restrict them...
Box knives isn't what stopped passengers from taking the terrorists out. They had fake bombs and the passengers didn't know if they were real.
The 2nd ammendment gets in the way here. There is no right to alcohol... And 18 year olds are considered legal adults...
Exactly my point. I'm half tempted to try and see how hard it is to print a 3d gun, because I bet it's a lot more difficult that filling out the the paperwork to grab a glock at a pawn shop. I'd prefer a gun having to wait until your 25.
That too. The passengers in the flight over Pennsylvania did. They sacrificed themselves to save alot of people. It's a shame it had to come to that. Better security would have likely thwarted the terrorists before they ever boarded that plane.
Yeah, you can buy a 3d printer (Ender 3 is $189.00) and enough filiment to make an AR for less than you can buy an AR.
2A has a purpose and it is an important one. I understand that. Those god damned framers really screwed us on that one, because something needs to be fixed for today's society.
There's not the political will to do any of the things you propose as alternatives to gun control, either. barfo
It's costly. The price of the printer and the plastic filament is not cheap. Also yeah 25 would be better. It gives young people enough time to mature.
The thing is the founders could never in their greatest dreams or nightmares have visualized today's society.
False flag? What is wrong with people. Children get massacred and these people want to pretend it's fake?
Well, actually the Supreme Court screwed us in recent decades with bullshit interpretations of the 2nd. Also, I'd say the bill of rights authors were more like handymen than framers. The constitution itself is the frame, the amendments are renovations. The house is pretty out-of-date and needs a little TLC. Let's get rid of the orange shag carpeting in the bathroom. barfo
