Bad rap for crime, but it's a'ight. We've stayed at the pyramid twice and enjoyed it. The zoo is pretty cool. Graceland is OK.
Frankfurt tomorrow! Just for a week to visit a friend who has lived in that area for 15 years or so. Probably going to train through some smaller villages in Germany, the Netherlands, and maybe France or Brussels. I'm not sure exactly, he knows his way around so I'll just follow him and he said we will be off the normal tourist route. Pdx has a seasonal direct flight to Frankfurt also on Condor air, who I have hear are decent. No missed connections this time!
Pick up a Lufthansa edition Rimowa aluminum suitcase! I think its still made in Germany! Rothenberg is a cool village. Pretty small but you can stock up on Christmas ornaments. I wanna check out Baden Baden, its like a spa town. Saw it on Rick Steves
My family went there for spring training one year and it was pretty fun. Hot as balls though. I can only imagine that during the summer it is worse.
