They've done a HORRIBLE job at keeping it hush hush. It's been written over and over that they will be selling.
Curious...if someone you were friends with ends up doing wrong, would you be ok being black-listed for life as well? If your response requires a qualifier, than I'll take it as a no.
Perhaps it depends on the situation. Were we very good friends for years both personally and in business? For how long?
I'll give you an idea of how it works in most peoples minds: A) If it happens to me: There should be an exception made because I have additional information that people should consider before calling me a horrible person. B) If it happens to someone I don't know at all: They're a horrible person and should be punished, for life. We're our own best defense attorney and the best judge of others at the same time!
Posted in the twin thread.....Blazers are said to have issued a statement after PKs offer stating the team is not for sale.....and yes I know, Canzano wrote the article.
Phil Knight is 84 and a billionaire like 45x over. I’m sure he doesn’t give two shits that Lillard is an adidas guy
I literally read about him making an offer on the team 10 minutes before I read the Blazers refused it....my guess is they're waiting for the tv money to roll in before selling if they're selling at all or they are starting a bidding war.
Can confirm from friends at Nike that they did not think that highly of Dame when Adidas signed him. They were significantly higher on Kyrie and Westbrook for the long term. Oops.
I love watching you lil minions and your “meaningful discussions”, ideas, and “ideologies”. Sally forth, FAMS!!
In Nikes defense, that was basically the consensus at the time, as it was very early in Dames career maybe even his rookie season for a $100 million shoe deal. Those other players had more seasons as proven all stars/superstars. Adidas was viewed by many as taking a big risk. Worked out great for them and yes a mistake for Nike.
