There is legitimately nothing else that can be done to prove Trumps involvement or guilt. And it won’t matter.
They just got members of both the proud Boys and Oath Keepers to say Trump asked them to be there on Jan 6th. I think there is indeed more they can and will show to prove he was involved.
Without those officers' brave and valiant actions on that day, I don't know if our democracy would be here today.
I watched it all so far and it was compelling and much more serious in nature than the impeachment hearings...political civil war and the bad guys need to do hard time...all of them including Donald fucking disgraced liar Trump. Kushner, Barr and Ivanka can bury Trump and come out of this without a scratch...same with his lawyers. Today I want to cheer and applaud the work and leadership of Liz Cheney during this committee hearing. She is the Republican voice of truth....much respect. She showed her personal power and her empathy was very very real for that policewoman...I don't agree with Liz about a lot of stuff but she was impressive today and will be remembered for this day for generations to come.
Agree. But I think they needed a voice other than hers to make it stick. Republicans already think she’s a complete traitor. I wish they could have pulled in a true Magat somehow and gotten them see the light and speak about what Cheney did. Pipe dream but that would help. The right thinks the whole panel is just a bunch of liberals who hate Trump.
I deleted that post...felt too much like an unnecessary rant when I read it back. but I meant it..fuck them..when this is over I think the GOP survivors will come out of the Trump closet and Cheney will be looked at as the savior of the party. Not until the next election cycle but when they start throwing Trump under the bus ..and they will....Cheney is going to rise in public opinion..folks will think there are traitorous republicans but it won't be her or Kinzinger in the end.
