So you're saying OG is the difference between a play-in team and a possible contender? honestly, i don't think he's that good.
It sounds like Indy will take Daniels. There was just a report that Detroit is “enamored” with Matherin If that’s the case…does Keegan Murray fall? What if it’s Murray and sharpe on the board?
Think Dallas' run was pretty flukish and hard to replicate. And recall Denver and the Clips will be back and healthy again next year. You know Lebron isn't going anywhere. Zion is back next year also. I think it's gonna be a dogfight just to get into the playoffs, with or without OG. The only WC playoff team possibly dropping will be Utah, and maybe Phoenix if they can't resolve Ayton.
I take Murray. He's the perfect insurance policy in case we don't want to pay Grant. And I suspect there would be plenty of opportunity to play Murray and Grant together. Murray is ready to contribute right now.
Great question. Sharpe IMO has a higher ceiling and a lower floor. I think that since a PF who can shoot from deep is the bigger need then I would go with the safer bet Murray. I would probably regret it though.
Yeah, I think Phoenix could slip a bit. CP3 is 37. How much of a factor is he? They still have a great 1-2 punch with Booker and Bridges but the #1 seed again seems unlikely
This is a really cool look, having Washington talk about Sharpe in practices. Premiered a few hours ago, so latest intel.
@hoopsjock the kid is shy man. Watch this clip. Ty Ty said he was barely talking when he got to Kentucky. He's a shy teenager. He said he's a home body, so I don't think we'd need to worry about this guy seeking the bright lights of a bigger city.
It's wild to see a guy more introverted than even Simons was as a rookie. I really think his future success in the league will be heavily dependent on his environment, and we have a terrific one. As long as he's focused on wanting to work, he should have no trouble blossoming.
So you're saying he's gonna draft Sharpe and hold onto him for eternity even when it's obvious we should trade him?
