This I agree with. My intruige level is high.

I don't agree with the pick 100% but it at least makes some sense.

Just don't play him meaningful minutes this year IMO. In two years? I guess I can see it.

Anything we get out of sharpe next season is a bonus. But Cronin knows that. There will be multiple players ahead of him on the depth chart, any minutes he gets will be earned.

He's the same height as Justise Winslow, and with a 1" longer wingspan. He'll need to gain some weight, but should absolutely be able to effectively play the SF position.

Beal is pretty prototypical, and Sharpe is way longer than him?

A player who increased his value by sitting out a year.

Fuck it. I have no desire to spend this kid's tenure as a Blazer listening to Leonard Meyers level whining about patience.

This is the DUDE in this draft. He could be the premier wing scorer of his generation and he could also be a lockdown defender. What an incredibly exciting pick. Cronin said he wants to swing for the fences and he sure did. If Shaeden is a bust, I won't blame Cronin. It's a really smart gamble after getting the safe player in Grant.

I know it’s obviously possible, but is there anyway Ant doesn’t come back?

This guy should play a lot this next season. He looks like a two way player with endless potential.

I like it of all the players left on the board, assuming we keep it. But yes, I'm also hoping there are additional vet moves for this season. This can't be it.

I like the Sharpe pick, but did we ever find out why he didn’t play last year? Was he eligible?

This makes me think Sharpe was the right pick.

He was. I can find the interview with the Kentucky beat writer for you. He was talking to I think a Kings reporter.

Why don't we actually see what he does in summer league and camp and in the early season and what the team has this year before we rule him out as a rotation guy?

I’m curious if we had a conversation with Shaedon at his workout, on how comfortable he would be playing a wing position. He reminds me of Paul George.

I saw him listed as 6'6 with a long 7 foot or more wingspan so he's the same as Justice Winslow that way...he can play SF no problem...just needs more muscle ..at 18 this kid could still grow taller

Do you realistically expect a guy who hasn't played a meaningful minute outside of high school to just... Get it?

I'm just being realistic. It's asinine to think he'll be a contributor this year.
