You cannot be serious. KG was 37 when he was traded. KD will be 38 by the time his current contract is over in 4 years. LeBron is still a top 5 player at age 37. Are we anticipating KD to lose his ability to shoot over literally everyone?

If they are losing Kyrie, they should get young pieces for him in a S&T... then get something like I'm proposing for a disgruntled KD... but you're right they won't be in a situation where they have to take less than KD is worth.
they can and should get a ridiculous package in a trade, but they have 0 obligations to trade him to a team he might prefer. and our trade package can get beat fairly easily
