    Or

    Sharpe
    Jerami Grant
    Payton 2
    Hart

group 2 is better. Again. People livid over defense for literally years. The team scoring 115 and losing nightly. Roco was hugely overrated. Powell just never was a fit here. CJ 90% hated. Nance gets hurt. All good players but who cares. You fill in with a huge upside rookie, Grant, Hart and Payton are are seasoned pros who play both ends of the floor. Also, you have a year older Simons playing with a healthy Lillard, and a presumably healthy Little. It’s not the dream team but it is better. Oh and it’s July 1.

Players with wide wing span and high standing reach is fine if they use it to there advantage but most players don't. So those measurements kind over rated.

Eubanks was alright signing he show last he belongs in the lead as at least a backup. Roster starting to shape up I don't think Joe is done I believe there will be trade down the line before the season starts.

He is undersized in height and standing reach at SF. More than Norman Powell was.

I don't care about that on the perimeter. He can play D. If he was a poor defender and he was short then it would be a problem. But
he can D up against most SFs. The ones he can't... then you bring in Little or Winslow or Grant. Not worried about SF, I am worried about PF.

Yep. I used to cringe watching them last year when all the other team had to do is walk by each other and we would automatically switch. 0% effort to get through the screen. It created immediate mismatches with no effort.

Stated this in another thread minutes ago … probably not so well. And it’s July 1. And the Grant trade has wiggle room … and …

Eubanks is fine as a 3rd string Center. Good that he returns. And Nurkic’s back-up is … ?

We have 14 guys on the roster and almost hard capped, the offseason is over.

Please, lay the framework of how you would have done that, with the assets and within the cap.

    Realistically. Now go.

Eubanks should not get rotation minutes, dude is a 3rd string Center at best. Another massive failure by dumm ass Cronin

Happy to see Eubanks backing up Nurk...he runs the floor, scrambles for loose balls and has a sweet hook shot. All this negative complaining is starting to seem habitual around the forum...if you don't see us as better and deeper right now than we have been and better defensively, I don't know what to say...Joe is doing a great job. Don't turn him into your next Meyers Leonard complaint punching bag already.

Joe is actually doing exactly opposite of what he said. He talked about creating flexibilty with those Deadline trade and how much of an asset Bledsoe or Ingles will be, or talking about balancing the roster with Wings and become more athletic. In reality we got even smaller, have more guards than ever and have to play 6.5 Hart at SF and 6.5 Little at Backup PF because we have no options. Cronin is a terrible GM

His job the intangibles change from minute to minute....in reality we got way better defensively and Joe Ingles chose his own future. When OG was not available...Joe moved on. Winslow can guard SFs no problem...so can Nas and Watford and Hart and Payton..Greg Brown is on the team as well....we'll see what Johnson, Didi or Sharpe can do but as is...I like the dawgs Joe brought in from Hart to Winslow to Payton....those are some defensive dudes.

To everyone poo-poo ing all the moves (to which there are several)

Please: quote this post and lay out realistically how you have done this, again, within the cap and within the assets?

And furthermore, make it realistic for other teams. No outrageous deals.

    I'll be patiently waiting.

Oh, and the reason I can't answer my own question is because I'm too stupid to understand all the minute details it takes to make this work. And also, my only real beef with the offseason is Sharpe, and I'm still willing to be patient.

But, now now's go ahead. I look forward to all the breakdowns of the offseason it should have been. I hope to learn a lot too!

good to hear....Joe wouldn't either...projections are projections and you can only do the deals that other teams agree to. I think Joe has a great plan...he sure didn't "lie" to me about it...he tried to get OG...he looked into Collins....he was smart enough to skip on Bridges....if you think an interim GM saying he wants to do this and this is lying, that's on you...he's projecting. He also said it may take more than one season to build the team he wants to build at the same conference....enjoy the process....Joe's doing great
