IF healthy, a unit of GPII, Hart, Nas, Grant and Nurk is a very good defensive unit

He reminds me of Brandon Roy. Roy had serious hops but only used them occasionally because he didn't need to.

Agreed. Is the lineup perfect? Probably not, but it's a massive improvement from years past. 4 of those 5 players can guard multiple positions (Nurk really being the only one who can only guard 1 spot).

Better then Hezonja, Tolliver, Harkless, Turner, Aminu (he was overrated as hell), Stauskus, and dare I say Roco and Powell.

PatC and Trent were getting consistent minutes toward the end here, so those per-36 numbers are valid and the best way to gauge whether the players improved after leaving Stotts.

I thought he looked much more comfortable in his latest media availability video.

I said "held them back." What winning coach plays 1st-3rd year players more minutes on average than players in their 2nd and 3rd contracts unless they have major depth issues at a position or they have some top lottery pick?

Look at Billups to start last season, he wasn't playing any young guy more than half the game either (Nas was close in the first 20 games - and he was being held back in previous seasons for other reasons). I wouldn't say he was holding back those players either. Sure, when we were trying to lose, he played those guys more, but that's because we were trying to lose.

It's weird that some people might prefer play young guys like Jake Layman, Pat, Gaberial, Swanigan, etc. more minutes and lose games, than put the best players on the floor. We did that the last 3 months of the season and it was a brutal watch.

Do you think Grant is the offensive focus there with nurk the facilitator?

Winslow seems more consistent than Grant. Also very good at making Nurk a very efficient scorer.

Winslow is best as the facilitator. Nurk is incredibly hard to stop when someone is throwing him passes while he is on the move near the hoop.
Edit: I should say they work best in unison. Passing the ball back-and-forth. Though Nurkic is the more difficult to stop scorer.

You can also pull one of those guys to add either Ant, Dame or Sharpe for scoring and have 4 defenders and a guy who can get you buckets and pass to the open man.
