And it's not necessarily a bad thing that they got lucky. Warriors took Barnes AND Ezeli ahead of Draymond in the 2012 draft if you recall.
Who actually gives a fuck what they did or did not expect they were the only team in the league that thought enough of him to actually select him. I know some of you have an agenda against Cronin and Billups, but it’s so transparent its just pathetic to read.
Cannot understate how important it is to find rotation players late in the draft or undrafted. Miami can consistently stay relevant even after losing contributors because they always find some random dude that ends up in their rotation for 3 years on a pennies contract. We may have found two in the last two years.
Btw, if we do a 4 year deal, the first three years can be guaranteed and the 4th year will be a team option. If we decline the team option, we can make him an RFA. Or if we don't decline it, we get him for that 4th year on a cheap deal, but he'll be an UFA if he doesn't sign an extension. I'm good giving him 3 guaranteed years.
the longer we wait, the worse the terms will be for the team. hopefully, they have some terms laid out already. he's our 10th man on day 1. don't mess around with the two-way
If he's willing to sign a two-way that may not be a bad deal either....because we will still own his RFA rights coming off the two-way, and can theoretically start his cheaper true contract a year later. I think he's earned a guaranteed deal though. They're definitely gonna wait till after SL to ink it. Interested to see the terms.
two way guys can only play in 50 games and are ineligible for the playoffs. don't wanna mess around with that this year.
do you know how happy i am not to have to sleuth around social media anymore? Speaking of which, far more compelling right now is GP2 liking posts by porn stars and following them on twitter. Wonder how he's handling the vices of Vegas this week.
What I still don’t like is that every time I catch a game and he comes in, he chucks up the ball every time he catches it. I’m still excited about his athleticism though, and I think he is the biggest project for Chauncey among Sharpe/Little/Trendon/Walker/Brown III.
Travis had some really solid moves. He had a shot that was damn near unguardable because of his elevation. Unfortunately he had a 10 cent head.
Also, how great is it that Jabari Walker is playing like a lotto pick to distract us from the fact that our actual lotto pick tore his shoulder...
If I was a pro athlete I would go around liking the most bizarre shit on social media just to mess with people like you I'd go find the most random tweet from some 80 year old grandma and I'd like that shit.
