    2018 broke a leg.
    2019 broke the other one.

this was the post he replied to
We could sign a minimum contract big if we moved a couple 3rd stringers though or even Watford, Brown, Johnson or Louzada....not sure that's the trend in the league though because teams seem to be getting younger and faster.....that's why all those bigs are without contracts so far. I'd sign a G leaguer to a two way and stand pat roster wise

He didn't break anything in 2018... as you can see he missed a total of 10 games that season mostly because of a sore lower back. He broke his wrist in 2021 hacking down to try and get a steal but the gruesome tibia and fibula fracture is the only significant lower body injury he's had. He did miss a few games with knee soreness towards the end of 2021 and then this season we shut him down for something I'm sure he would have played through if we were playing for something.

Folks need to stop predicting injuries to players....lot of great players had Nurk like injuries...Paul George for one...Antonio McDyess...Grant Hill...on and on. Good thing is Nurk was young enough to fully recover....he looked great last season. given his leg fell off like Paul George's and covid happened and we tanked....his playing record isn't indicative of where he's at now.

Yes, I was aware of the post he replied to. It was the one I quoted a portion of to isolate the statements which created the confusion.

If he plays a full season without breaking a bone. At least 62 games this year I’ll apologize to the entire board and admit I’m wrong.
As it stands Nurk has been an injury waiting to happen.

Cut Didi and sign Whiteside for the minimum as backup or 3rd string big. We need more length, both might not see the court but I rather to have a vet. big than D league player.

I think of him as "low mileage" when I think of games he's missed.....he's like a classic car that has been parked a lot so the age is deceiving!

Luke Babbitt was ,by far, the MVP of that team.

Here's a look at the 2022-23 roster as the Blazers are getting ready for their first pre-season game on October 3:

    upload_2022-9-28_19-1-13.png

I think the biggest unknown at this time is the starting spot at Small Forward. Winslow mentioned in his media day interview that he saw himself as either the starting SF or the backup PF. My guess is Hart gets the starting spot, and Little backs him up. Winslow will get backup PF minutes. I'm hoping that Walker gives Winslow some competition to earn some of those backup PF minutes.

14 roster spots filled. 1 two-way spot filled.
Will one of the camp invites earn a spot on the roster?
    - Wesley Iwundu - 6'6, 195 lbs, SF. 27 yo
    - Devontae Cacok - 6'7, 240 lbs, PF/C, 26 yo
    - Olivier Saar - 7'0, 240 lbs, C, 23 yo
    - Isaiah Miller - 6'0, 190 lbs, SG, 23 yo
    - Jared Rhoden - 6'6, 210 lbs, G, 23 yo

The current roster sure looks a lot different (better?) than the roster this time last year.

    Wat
Watford not playing any 4? He will before Walker or Brown early on anyway.

With the news of Brandon Williams being cut, here's a look at the current roster -

    upload_2022-10-8_16-50-46.png

Two 2-way contract spots open, and one full-time roster spot open.

My guess is Olivier Sarr gets one of those 2-way contract spots. 7'0, 237 lbs, 23.6 yo.

4 out of the 5 starter spots are cemented. Who gets the starting SF spot on opening night?

You actually waived your usual $50 dollar ban hammer fee that night?
