He returned 15 boxes then said there were no more classified documents. Which would be true if he declassified them. Its true that he is not supposed to have them. But i don't see clear evidence of lying that would warrant the raid. Where was the refusal to comply?

An ex President is a civilian. He’s me. And you. He doesn’t even get classified info anymore unless Biden gives it to him and yeah that ain’t happening. He doesn’t get to declassify shit once he leaves office. He doesn’t get to take top secret documents and keep them at home in a safe.

He stole them January 20, 2021. The FBI didn't finally "come and take it" until August 8, 2022. By my count that's 565 days. How long should the government have waited for him to voluntarily fork over sensitive stolen property? 2 years? 10 years? 100 years? Because in New Jersey cemeteries are exempt from taxation. By burying her in the golf course he can list it as a cemetery and pay no taxes.
If they're going to lock him up (etc), they need to get their ducks in a row. Unlike the chants of "lock her up" (which are not based in reality, or in breaking of a law that requires being locked up), the DOJ/Merrit Garland want to actually have proof and facts on their side.
