That's why we have parents. You know, mothers.....the ones you push to have full control over their bodies? If the child is born, I agree, the mother (and parents) should have full control/responsibility for said child until the appropriate age. It's called parenting. It's a wonderful, time-tested dynamic.
But you got up in arms about parents taking kids, age unknown, to drag show. So not really for parents' rights. Why is the idea of schools teaching facts considered evil? Schools teaching digestion does not dictate what meals parents serve. Schools teaching facts about sex doesn't dictate how parents, who obviously had sex, feel about it. Studies show parents most adamantly opposed to schools teaching are least likely to teach at home.
@ABM should schools not teach about digestion? I mean, they would end up inevitably talking about poop. That is sexual in nature to some. 2 girls 1 cup. Watch it sometime.
People thinking they're teaching kindergartners about sex have never actually been around a kindergartner.
I worked with 4 year olds that handled stuff like this better than the Desantis and ABMs of the world.
Until Y'allQaida gets to decide what can be taught and who can learn or who can teach...and that fundamentalist mullahs are the holders of all knowledge, and everyone should just follow them blindly to the point of taking up arms in the name of their leader. That's the new Mao Red Guard that we should all fear given the climate around red states these days.
Occupy Wallstreet was a good thing, just not enough of it. Corporations and the wealthy have been taking far more than their healthy share for at least 40 years now.
Since the people who support DeSantis (and Trump) seem to purposefully ignore history, and chastise those who actually are educated, this is no surprise.
