Gilbert continues to dominate. 1ER, 1BB, 11k, and 4 hits in 6 innings. Not an expert but I imagine he will still get better.

Our 1-4 in pitching (Castillo, Ray, Kirby, and Gilbert) is top 5 in the league and 2 of them are rookies. Lol.

This pitching staff in two years -- if we keep a Castillo -- may be the filthiest. It's absurd.

Mariners have got to win these next 3 games vs the A’s. Can’t afford to loose any.

Realistically you just want to win series. I'm fine with 2 out of 3. Sweeping teams are just bonuses.

Fuck! Ty France needs to get his ass chewed. He was just jogging to first base. If he would have been running that could have been an base hit.

Winker can fuck right off man. 3 runs he gave up this week and all of them were fucking important since they were in 1 run losses.

Dude can't hit or field. Cost us 2 fucking games.

Ichiro is in the top five for most overrated players of all time ... dude was good no doubt but he was much more interested in inflating his own totals rather than helping his team win.

There were numerous times where a sac bunt or fly would have greatly benefited the team and instead he was trying for a base hit, diminishing the odds of his teams success. Never was a fan, always felt like his #'s were hollow and he was much more in it for 'ME' rather than 'WE'.

First thought that came to mind.

Not gonna happen. If the coach was giving him a bunt sign he bunted. If the coach told him to hit away he was swinging. You simply don't go against what the play call is and stay in the game.

    Is
Shouldn’t that be determined by what the coach/manager calls?
