You got me man. I really can’t understand it, I find it astounding how many older middle manager type men I know who fawn all over him.

These range from uneducated but self made hard working extremely experienced guys, all the way to well educated MBA types. It’s completely baffling, as all of these same men loathe the type of employees that mirror Trumps behavior. IE the lazy, whiney, incompetent, idiots who have a million grievances.

A Trump endorsed Republican congressional candidate is on record opposing women's suffrage. He said America has suffered as a result of women's suffrage. In an article he wrote women are not as smart as men and don't possess the attributes to vote.

    And he spelled possess incorrectly.

Academically BYU is pretty good but otherwise I've never understood nor agreed with a lot of their beliefs such as why they treated Blacks different for so long. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Ha, ha, so now you expect Trump to be able to spell or read a Dick and Jane book?

He was considered greatest baseball player in New York by himself, maybe.

Everyone else considered his contemporary New Yorker Mickey Mantle.....

Babe Ruth was earlier. Mantle was contemporary.

The things that Ruth did on both sides of the game though. Not sure Mantle tops that regardless of era.

Understand. But the claim has been made by previous guy he was greatest New York baseball player of his era. That's what I was referencing when I said Mantle.

Either way, Trump was obviously better than either one of them. ;)

But Slate found some of his old stats as a player for the New York Military Academy and they don’t exactly scream MLB talent. Partial records uncovered by the website revealed a .138 batting average over the nine games.

One baseball writer who also worked as a scout for the Toronto Blue Jays offered up a blunt assessment when asked if Trump sounded like a prospect.

“There’s no chance,” said Keith Law of The Athletic, adding:

“You don’t hit .138 for some podunk, cold-weather high school playing the worst competition you could possibly imagine. You wouldn’t even get recruited for Division I baseball programs, let alone by pro teams. That’s totally unthinkable. It’s absolutely laughable. He hit .138 — he couldn’t fucking hit, that’s pretty clear.”

Read Slate’s full report, which includes a look at some of Trump’s other baseball claims,

Hopefully Keith Law isn’t considering a run for office as a Republican, as he sure won’t be getting Trumps endorsement now.
