I’m pretty confined to my hotel and the arena the venue is at but it’s def a hot topic. None of our Brazilian skaters had a press conference the other day and said they wouldn’t answer any questions about it because it’s such a touchy topic. Friend of mine who’s a Brazilian pro skater wore a Brazilian soccer getup for Halloween just cus he had everything already and posted a pic with his kids in it and he was getting hella hate for it because apparently the soccer jersey with the blue stripe or something is the equivalent of wearing a maga hat and he had no idea since he wasn’t up to date on it since he lives in the states. But I haven’t really seen much commotion other than normal “city of god” stuff. Friend got mugged thinking he went in an Uber that just happened to be a random car. Car took him far from where he was going and ended up getting jumped and when he ran to the cops for help they tried to rob him by taking him to an atm at a store. During which someone asked him if he was ok he said no. Random person called him an Uber and he ended up getting away. Def could have been the other way….. man was lucky af.

For those losing their mind last February, do you still want to undo the RoCo/Norm for Winslow/Keon trade now?

I didn't think it was a great talent:talent trade, but didn't mind the move. Even as a defender of the trade, it looks like I was wrong for not defending it harder.

I've come around on it being a surprisingly solid trade and who knows it might look incredible in a few months time. I love Winslow and Keon is growing right before our eyes!

Hopefully nobody wants to undo the CJ/Nance for Hart/Grant trade either.

Would you rather Winslow, or lose fast?

I never said that I had things scouted out as well as Cronin. It seemed like a move that brought back too little, too early. There is a likelihood now that Cronin having been a scout and a cap expert knew that Keon was worth more than how the Clippers valued him and that Justise if healthy could both defend (which we all knew) and run an offense. If those likelihoods are correct then Cronin made a good trade. Obviously the CJ/Larry trade was only good if Cronin knew that the Pistons would trade Grant regardless of if the pick conveyed or became the Bucks 2025 pick.

As everything turned out Josh, Jerami, Justise and Keon were well worth CJ, RoCo, Larry and Norm. So that's a great job by Cronin in hindsight and there's no reason to think he didn't know somethings we didn't.

I love all of this content but object to the idea that Justise has ever been a guard. In the NBA that he came into he was a small forward and in the NBA that has evolved since then he would be considered a swing forward, being able to play the 3 or the 4.

I would really say that what you mean is that Chauncey is the truth and Cronin knows how to feed him what he needs to succeed.
