I suspect he will be much much better. He can be a difference maker on defense, even if he is never anything than a lob-threat on offense.

Banchero is great but if it's not translating to wins, I cannot get that excited. He's not playing really on a team that is even remotely competitive. Same with SGA, and it's a shame for both.

    rookies don't usually win.

lebron's team was in the lottery his rookie year.

Yes but plenty do ok. Barnes, Mobley, Dame...plenty.
So how much longer do ORL and OKC and DET suck? They have lots and lots of "talent". Something ain't right.

Paolo is off to a great start for sure. But i'm really surprised by the poor starts of Jabari Smith & Keegan Murray. Just shows you preseason isn't regular season. Mathurin's start doesn't surprise me at all. He was NBA ready.

A lot of them came into the right situation where those teams were really close already… and just had one missing piece.

And they have lots of high draft picks… not necessarily a lot of “NBA talent”.

Also part of drafting so high every year is it’s hard to make all those players fit, because the top of the draft is usually ball dominant players.

Barnes and Mobley also had all star (Garland)/all NBA (Siakam) caliber teammates.

Dame won 33 games his rookie year even with Aldridge.

That's my point, having high picks does not assure you success. Chemistry is worth something. More high FRPs is not going to turn ORL around.

There are currently trade threads for Simmons, Durant, and now AD.

Screw all three of those guys.

Somehow they all end up on the Lakers and they make the playoffs losing in the first round. Messes up the Pels pick and the Lakers stay irrelevant.
Maybe they can do this and send Russ to the Nets and they can stay messed up as well?
Lets see??? What other team can i mess with?

Bucks have played almost all their games at home. Things will balance out soon.

Blazers lost the last 13 games of the season on Dame’s rookie year.

As we learned - never sign a player that Miami was prepared to let go.

Game to watch tonight - MIL @ ATL

Can Young, Murray, and the Hawks use their lethal shooting to crack the Bucks defense and hand MIL their first loss of the season?
