I watched the first half and posted in this thread. Couldn't watch the 2nd half live (don't ask), so I had to watch it on DVR. I then came here and read all the meltdowns...that was fun. Some people shouldn't post in game threads I'm thinking

right now, I'd be just fine with Cronin not doing anything at the trade deadline. There's no player on the team I really want traded, especially not before seeing what this team can be

I do not understand this line of thinking.
Eubanks is a solid backup center. He rebounds, clogs the middle, blocks shots, is shooting over 65% from the field...he provides toughness, is a great teammate, and one of the dawgs on this team. I mean, whadda ya want?
I am a huge Justice fan, he and Hart are the key to Chauncey-ball...And, as amazing as it is, Winslow can play center, and there will be times (like tonight) where it works.
I wouldn't want Jabari Walker taking any of Drew's time. I just don't think he's as good as Eubanks. At anything. Yet.
Eubanks has more than earned his time.

There are so many dumb things that happen in the NBA every night.
Sacramento was only down 1 point with 26 seconds left in the game.
Sacramento had a foul to give and finally fouled with about 10 seconds left in the game.
Then they let the clock run down to 1.3 seconds before fouling again. And sending Steph Curry to the free-throw line.
Why in the hell would you do that?
Sacramento did manage to get a shot off and perhaps Kevin Huerter was fouled but that was not called. Perhaps it will be in the two minute report tomorrow. In any case Sacramento lost.

So we win in Phoenix with Winslow essentially our PG down the stretch, and we win in Miami with Winslow essentially playing center down the stretch. How valuable is he?

Ant is such a clutch shooter. Love seeing him attack the lane and finish in crunch time against a good defensive team.

It is nothing against Eubanks but the trailblazers should put out the best lineup possible. Sometimes that might be without Eubanks. Neither Eubanks nor Nurkic finished the game tonight. Should they have automatically been in at the end?

This team has a lot of paths to victory in every game and that's nice to see.

No. Chauncey had the correct lineup (duh!..lol)
But Jabari Walker was also where he needed to be.

I see Eubanks with 13 minutes, Watford with 13 minutes, Sharpe with 12 minutes and Little only 7 minutes. Wonder where Gary Payton II's minutes will come from. I would think he'd get at least 20 minutes a night.

At what point will you tone down your expectations for this kid? You are setting yourself up for a letdown. Just sit back and enjoy watching him grow over the next few years. Was it you who claimed he’d be our 2nd best player on our team but the end of the season, if not sorry, but that type of shit is MINDBLOWING!

    MIAMI HEAT

HEAT 27-42 all-time against the Portland Trail Blazers, which includes
a 12-22 record in games played here in Miami. HEAT and Blazers split
the two-game 2022-23 season series and Miami has its four-game win
streak against Portland snapped. Miami has still won seven of the last 10
    meetings vs. Portland.

HEAT and Trail Blazers conclude their 2022-23 two-game series tonight in just
the HEAT’s 11th game of the season. It is the third fewest games in franchise
history in which they have completed a season series with an opponent with
the first two instances occurring within the last week when the HEAT
finished their season series with Golden State on November 1 (eight games)
and with Sacramento a night later (nine games).

HEAT becomes just the second team in league history to complete a season
series against three different opponents within the first 11 games of a season,
joining the 2005 Golden State Warriors, who did this against the Bulls, Knicks
and Bucks within the first nine games of that season.

HEAT knocked down 10-of-their first 19 threes tonight but missed nine of 10
attempts in the third quarter. They made 14 in the game, the fourth game this
season with at least 14 made and the second such game against the Blazers.
Miami made a then season-high 15 threes at Portland on October 26.

Fourth consecutive fourth quarter in which the HEAT have been tied, all within
the final 5:35 and three of the four (all here at FTX Arena) having been tied
    with under 2:10 to play.

HEAT made 13-of-15 free throws, including 11-for-11 in the second half (86.7
percent). They have shot at least 80 percent from the stripe in a team-record
10 consecutive games, matching the Chicago Bulls streak at 10 entering their
game tonight vs. Toronto. The league record for consecutive games shooting
at least 80 percent from the free throw line is held by the Oklahoma City
Thunder, who shot at least 80 percent from the free throw line in 15 straight
    games over two seasons (2010-11 & 2011-12). The single-season mark is 14
straight games by Charlotte (2017) and Golden State (2012).

HEAT had seven players score in double figures tonight, led by a trio of starters,
Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Max Strus with 16 points each. HEAT
played only eight players in the game and the lone single-digit scorer, Duncan
Robinson, finished with nine points. HEAT have had eight double-figure
scorers seven times in franchise history, but never when playing just eight
    players.

    JIMMY BUTLER

Returned after missing the last two games with left hip tightness, playing the
699th game of his career. He led the HEAT with 16 points.

Scored six points in the first and fourth quarter and four points in the second
quarter tonight. He was scoreless in the third quarter, his first scoreless
quarter on the floor this season. He has scored in 34 of the 35 quarters he
has played this season (did not play in the fourth quarter at Portland on
    October 26).

Still impacted the third quarter though scoreless, adding three assists and three
steals. Finished with a season-high-tying six steals tonight, his second six-
    steal game this season.

Added seven assists with four leading to made three-point field goals.
He has 51 assists this season, with 27 leading to three-point field goals.

    PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

    Yeah..That didn't read as a "tonight's game only" sentiment.
If it was, why would he term Chauncey's potential use of him in this game only as "Stotts treatment"?
Takes a month to earn that title.
