The Hornets look like a terrible team that will surprise you with their hustle and scrap enough to pull out a win. Step on their necks from the opening tip and don't give them any hope.

    This

The phrase “trap game” comes to mind. Which is why I didn’t pencil this one in as a W before the season started. Hope I’m wrong… Definitely feel better about this one today than before the season started.

Haha, I have the same theory about my wife, she has all her kids about 9 months after her birthday.

there is a lot of variance in their shooting.

our 3pt defense tonight will be key. they have guys who can get super hot and space out the floor well.

i'm surprised their defense is so poor.

The Hornets are full of shooters. Those are scary teams, because on any day , they could shoot lights out from 3. Which makes them very dangerous. I think this Blazers team is different. And won't overlook them. Show us Blazers, and take care of business. Go Blazers!!

No Miles Bridges real hurts them. That fool , and his abhorrent behavior , has changed the course that team for now. They will need to find a replacement in next years draft. That won't be easy.

I agree. My theory is that when you play hard on D, and you have some depth, and you push the ball on offense while getting everyone involved, you are less likely to overlook teams. In other words, when you play with energy, I think teams play more consistently night in and night out. You get into trouble when teams rely on just a couple of guys to score. If those guys start off slowly, then bad teams can jump on you.

Not saying this team (when healthy) won't have bad nights, but I think the style of play will keep us in most games until someone gets hot. On the other hand, if we continue to turn the ball over, then we will also keep the other team in the game. That needs to get better.

Blazers beat them in Portland. 43 from Dame. Lost at Charlotte by 8 . Ball & Oubre had good games to lead them.

Bookies think we will win and we are giving 3.5 points. However ESPN power index thinks Hornets are a two to one favorite. ESPN Power index not really very good?

I don't think so. We need a little more size. I would bring Sharpe off the bench for scoring and would instead start Watford or Eubanks.
