    Luka led his team to the WCF at age 23. He is a top 2 MVP candidate this season. Dame’s 32 and hasn’t been any further than Luka. I like both players.

    They didn’t narrowly skip past Phoenix. They bludgeoned ‘em by 40 in Phoenix! But the 2019 Blazers did VERY narrowly skip past Denver. Luka has had a much better career than Dame and that’s fine.

    Yes Dame's been to the WCF and I didn't say otherwise. But Dame has never won a game in the WCF as Luka has.

    Dame's team was 0-4, Luka's was 1-4. Do you really think that's any kind of a meaningful gauge?...because I sure don't

    I never said that.

    I said Luka won 1 WCF game that Dame has not. It's a simple fact, any extrapolation or additional meaning is not my comment but your interpretation.

    These posts all started with a poster saying that Luka is overated, not a winner, and clearly inferior to Dame. My point was Luka has won more than Dame over much fewer seasons, so if he is not a winner than Dame probably isn't either.

    and what I posted was questioning the meaning of Luka winning 1 game in the CF and Dame winning none. IMO, it's a meaningless gauge of the two players. Might be a more meaningful gauge of the GM's

    wrong year. Portland only made it to the semi's in 2016. They made it to the WCF in 2019

    2019 road to WCF:

    Beat OKC that was 4-0 vs us in regular season.
    Beat Denver on the road in Game 7.

    It was very impressive. Clippers series was in 2016.
