    I don’t think I’ve watched a Soccer/football/kickball game in twenty years. I honestly don’t know much about the game. I was pulling for England for whatever reason? Not sure? Just don’t like France much. Spent a bunch of time there and they really don’t like us.
    Seemed to me the best team won? Of course I don’t know Jack about the sport so that ain’t saying much.
    I had fun watching the game though.

    The goalies study the history of the shooter. I am sure the goalie knew his tendency was where the first shot was going, so he tried to change it up. Plus they are teammates on their normal team so lots of history in PK's between them.

    They said they weee teammates for many years and probably practiced that many times. Just seemed like a complete breakdown? If the goalie gets to the ball then you have to live with that IMO but you got to at least take a shot that would score at that level.
    Again I have no clue about the game though? Maybe that happens a lot? NBA players miss free throws all the time?

    Well he is not 17 for 21 in his career so he doesn't miss often. I agree though, you have to at least put the shot on goal and giving yourself at least a chance.
