Well, I did say I’m skeptical of a safety (in particular) getting 2m before even playing a down. QB… DL… a little easier to believe. But it’s also clear that things have changed. I forgot the numbers TAMU openly paid for that top ranked recruiting class. Ohio States coach, Ryan Day, asked for at least 10million (maybe more) to RETAIN players or they’ll hit the transfer portal. (I also think this is where the whole “tampering” thing comes in to play and why this whole NIL thing will continue to develop.)
