Could be... But back to my original point: I don't think Dame and GPII were under the same degree of urgency to return. Dame was under negative urgency to return. So comparing the two doesn't really make much sense.
Dame had more time than Payton to heal. But, yeah it sounds like there is still discomfort. He looked good on the court though. Hopefully, there isn't too much to be concerned about there.
he tweeked an ankle (or something) early on during the game. That he played through it is probably because he didn't want to check out a few minutes into his long awaited debut & it wasn't serious. STOMP
He's gonna get at max 20-25 mins on occasion. And spot minutes to close. He's not a primary weapon like Dame was. As long as he won't make it worse and it's just soreness, I think it's fine to roll him out at less than 100%
