Why is Jabari on such a short leash? Am I crazy, but in the tiny minutes he's been given, he's done nothing but great things. He did that behind the back layup in his very first game, and yesterday he was doing putbacks, getting assists... Why isn't he getting more than a pittance of minutes? Are we waiting for an injury to Grant?
I don’t think he’s on a short leash. There’s just a lot of talented guys competing for minutes. His time will come.
Sharpe getting some minutes... Walker getting almost no minutes... Keon getting very limited minutes... Watford might get his first minutes... ... and GP2 isn't ready for minutes. Nice problem to have. Come February, consolidation trade to get better?
I don’t think we have enough to acquire all three, FAMS! That’d be a lot of ego in the locker room, tho.
I do like PG. Dame/Sharpe/PG/Grant with hustle guys like Keon/GPII/Walker/Watford/Winslow could likely take us all the way. But man, I don’t like giving up so many 1sts for an aging star, and that’s what all of those guys you mentioned are. If PG costs Ant, a couple young guys for salaries, and protected 1sts, then I’d probably do it.
I’m excited to see what Walker could do in our starting lineup if Grant ever took a day off or is injured.
Once we're down 25 with 6 minutes left, I'm sure Walker will play the rest of the game. Who knows, maybe we'll even get to see Badji?
At this rate Jabari will be fighting for a starting spot be the end of season. He has alot to work with skill wise. His rebounding and nose for the ball is going to force coach to find more time for him. Dame Ant/Josh Jabari Jerami Nurk Bench Josh/Ant Keon Shae Wat Eubanks
Payton and Winslow are also out, which I believe is playing a significant role in him getting extra minutes right now. If he is starting at the end of the season on a contending, healthy Blazer team, that would be an amazing sign.
