That's a fucking cop out. Teams are going to know we're desperate now.

I'm not saying he'll make good trades. I have no fucking clue what he'll do but he's got to see that what he has right now isn't working. So I think he'll do something and it won't be small.

Yep, no good deals for the Blazers. They have all the leverage.

The ability to challenge later in the game where the result is likely to have an expected outcome around 0.55 points.

My theory is you're looking to use your challenge where it is likely to have an expected outcome at or above 1.5 points. Certainly over 1 point, unless it's very late in the game.

If you're not happy with the team and only care to hate on the players, why watch anymore?

We’ll see if Joe really does have the nickname “Trader Joe” by the trade deadline.

We are good at bidding against ourselves. Or actually, we're bad it.

We are prolific at it. Which is impressive and bad and badly impressive and impressively bad. Hahaha

I don't disagree with that. I believe he had to make the trades he did last season, and I believe he had some marching orders from Seattle. Finally firing Olshey guaranteed that last year's team was going to get dismantled. I'd much rather have Grant & Hart than CJ and Powell so I credit him for that exchange. That's a better set of moves than Oshley had made for years

I still believe he overpaid for Ant and Nurk and doing so has degraded their trade value, but I get why people disagree. I just don't believe there was anywhere near a 100M market for Ant or a 70M market for Nurkic. But I suppose you can make a case that rewarding players might have some pay-it-forward value. I don't buy that argument but it could be made, I guess

I really hated the Payton signing. And the more I think about it, I'd say Little's contract is not a good one. Countdown to his next injury

to hard-cap the team for an injured 6'2 guard was really dumb in my view, and seeing the Blazers lose games lately to teams with lots of length in the SG-SF-PF positions just drives home how dubious a decision it was to invest a full 3 year MLE deal in a 6'2 player

I can't speak on behalf of anyone else, and I don't hate on the players (I don't think) but I will say I rooted for the team before these players and hope to root for the team after these players are long gone.

I'm not going to hype anyone merely because they're on the Blazers currently, but that doesn't mean I don't want to compete for championships.

That goes without saying, but the drek ever since we got them has seeped into all our other uniforms, too. It feels like everything went downhill when we unveiled them.

Bad karma making alternates that aren't in your team's color scheme.

Nurk can say whatever he wants. But this offensive gameplan is a dumpster fire.

I thought it was obvious, but will try again. That rate was outstanding! So since it was so successful, why not do it even more instead of jacking up endless brick house 3s?

I think every coach would love to dunk it every time down. Unfortunately, the other team is also trying to stop teams from dunking it every time, which leads to situations where players have to decide between a contested rim shot against multiple defenders or an open 3. 35 rim attempts isn't a low number.
