    Look at his statline and compare it to other guards in the west. There's no conversation to be had

    Kind of my point. He won’t make it but the Pels fans can give him some respect. I’m glad he’s getting it.

    The Broncos have a few titles. They don't need any more.

    Maybe, if 5 games turns into 20. But he had a pretty bad first 30 games

    * he has the worst PER of his career as a starter. He ranks 68th among 'qualified' players (75% of games) and 116th among all players
    * he's the team's PG but ranks 35th in assist rate (qualified players); 52nd among all players
    * he's 20th in FGA but 155th in TS% among qualified players and 316th among all players...wow
    * among qualified players he's 109th in winshares/48 and 47th in BPM

    volume scoring does get attention and he's a volume scorer because he's a volume shooter. Arguably, Simons has better numbers. And, the Pelicans are starting to lose a lot of games because they are past their home-heavy stretch (17-6 at home). They have lost 7 of their last 9 on the road

    Now, there may be an an injury opening with Booker out until at least the first of February. Still, that leaves Curry (who is back), Doncic, Morant, Dame, SGA, Fox (check his numbers), PG13/Kawhi, Anthony Edwards. And of course, if Booker does come back a couple of weeks before the game, he'll be in

    Players definitely ahead of CJ:

    Curry
    Doncic
    Ja
    SGA

    That’s it. Then you have Dame, Fox, Simons, Klay, and PG13 competing with CJ for 2 spots probably.

    Or take advantage of it. Key is to acknowledge the situation and use it to your advantage. Alway be aware of how the game is being called. Hoops 101.

    I get that. If your getting to the line, go for it. But, again no team should have that many FT attempts. That's just ridiculous.

    I left Booker off because he’s been hurt and his team has sucked. Same with Dame. Out of sight, out of mind. Edwards isn’t there yet.

    Dame and Booker are on an entire other tier than CJ. If they are healthy thy will get in before CJ. It's not really debatable

    People forget that the coaches put vote on reserves. The respect for Dame around the league among the coaches is high so if they look at the stats and Dame is having a good year at all (27 point 7 assists is pretty solid) then they'll vote for him before SGA on a tanking team or any other would be first time all star that in their view has years ahead of them to get on the team after top 75 of all time guys who are still productive completely drop off,

    Fox and Sabonis should both be there. SAC is doing pretty damn well this year.

    Yeah this is probably true.
    I’m just happy CJ is playing well and his fans are supporting him.
