No, never heard of them. I'll check it out tonight. I follow a couple on Facebook (two expats), who lived in NY then retired to the Yucatan, and now have relocated to Queretaro. We are looking for some day trip ideas.
The mountains are great by the way. So much cheaper than the beach areas, food is better and not so many idiot tourists to deal with. Our boutique hotel is fantastic and is only $70 per night.
They broke up and now its just the girl. The guy is a fucking cheapskate, lol, if you ever watch his Vegas videos.
Yes, they broke up but he bought her out. He got a gf in Mexico who is a doctor. He is doing better than Maddy is.
I like Maddy better, seems more down to earth and authentic. The dude just seems shady but prob more business minded.
Looks like its Box Jellyfish time when I'm in Oahu in two weeks. So no ocean swimming, blah. Trying to do some other stuff I guess. Saturday should be good but Sunday is low probability and Monday-Wed are high probability for Box Jellyfish (and probably Man-o-War). 7 days after a full moon. https://www.waikikiaquarium.org/interact/box-jellyfish-calendar/
My daughter in San Diego is going to buy a second home in Mexico...they are looking now for a vacation spot...hopefully we'll have a family get together there once a year. She's taking her time but her house in Carlsbad is paid off now and they want to have a Mexican getaway.
I think she's looking much further south than Baja....they've been taking research trips and her husband travels all over the world for a living so distance isn't a deal breaker....my granddaughter will live in the San Diego house when they are in the south. My daughter and son in law are fluent in Spanish so they feel at home there.
Chile En Nogada. But tacos al pastor are the thing to get there. And a cheap shoe shine by a street vendor
