Hate that the warriors got back a key cog in what they thought was missing but whatever

Weird we paid him and then said "okay you can have him back" lol

There was conversation about The Warriors trading James Wiseman to Portland for Gary Payton II, sources said. Golden State now effectively moves their return for Wiseman in exchange to bring Payton back to the Bay Area.

So essentially the Warriors gave us 5 picks when they could have just signed him this summer.

They would have had to give these away to get rid of Wiseman anyway.

Also screw GP2 -- he used the Blazers and Cronin ( who is a damn idiot ) to get paid then did not want to be in Portland and then got rewarded and SENT back to the Warriors.

    I am fuming atm

We made GS overpay in salary and draft picks for GPII.

Yeah but we upgraded with Thybule. So I am ok with the trade-off. The Wiseman part confuses me but if the Warriors wouldn't play him and wanted to dump him....what does that say about him?

I feel bad for those who were legit excited about the GPII signing because this trade has to hurt. For those who didn't love the signing, this is a good day.

I was excited for a healthy GP2. We never got it, so that's a bummer. But I like MT - he is younger, bigger and will likely be cheaper to keep long term, so overall, the Blazers upgraded there.

Link with actual words that said that? Verifiable sources? Or just something you manifested? "Well he got paid so it's obvious" is not a good enough answer. Verifiable sources and actual words.

    No? Then that's on you.
