Serious question: who (if any) among our new acquisitions are you most excited about?

I guess I can get kind of enthused about Thybulle. Anyone else? I honestly couldn't name all of them or pick them out of a lineup.

Bonus points if you pick one of the more obscure ones and have a good reason for it.

Thybulle for being who I hoped GP2 would be for us.

I guess like any rags to riches story, would not mind seeing Cam actually becoming the hype he had before the draft, but I do not really believe it will happen.

Curious to see if we can get something out of Reddish.

He can have all the minutes he wants at backup center or point guard...

We know what we will get out of Thybulle. But Reddish little more of a mystery. Be awesome if he can develop into a consistent 3D forward

Oh, this team needs bench scoring. He will get minutes at SF I am sure. They are certainly going to give him the ball to see if he can score there. If he can, he certainly solves some of the bench problems the Blazers have.

I was banking on Svi Mykhailiuk posting nightly frenetic fast paced double doubles, but unfortunately Cronin traded him too.

I like whoever helps the team fall into the #1 pick in the 2023 NBA draft.

None. I'm not excited about any of the new acquisitions. Thybulle is the only one with a bankable skill, and I think the rest of his game is too pedestrian for that one skill to be utilized effectively. I think the 5 second-round picks are probably the best pickup of the deadline.

    Thybulle I guess.

I guess we will see if Reddish or Knox are truly busts. Who trades for two thought to be busts who were traded for each other?

But don't we have plenty of bench forwards already? Including ones that need minutes to develop? Meanwhile, I can see Chauncey giving Winslow minutes (if he ever gets healthy) just because he can handle the ball, and there's a severe shortage of ball handlers on our roster.

Without question my least favorite. I don't think I've ever had a string of letters break my brain as badly as his last name does.

HAS to be Reddish. Knox is toast and Thybulle is a known commodity. But Reddish looks the part, has offensive flashes, has the draft capital and the narrative of being stuck under arguably the 2 worst coaches for young players in recent NBA history.

If his career arc continues in a Blazers jersey, he'll be a FA in a handful of games, but if he plays well enough to look like anything we might either be able to profit off of or an asset worth continuing to develop, he's icing on the FRP cake.

One thing that could help is he shoots almost 90% from the line (58-65 in his 35 games in NY)
So maybe he can close out games if he can defend.
