Josh outs Gary and the Warriors as doing nothing but dragging us for a made up reason. When they complete the trade tomorrow it will be clear. Unfortunately when they accept the trade national media will make it a non-story and leave it behind but they should cast the Warriors in a negative light for doing nothing but trying to hurt another franchise in ways that have nothing to do with competing.
We discarded the exact type of player we need. This franchise seems to be in love with undersized no defense tweeted guards like Simons.
I have to laugh that when the accusations against the Blazers came out, allllll of these Twitterheads were jumping on the Blazers. Now that more information is coming forward that refutes it, all those same people are "He said/she said ... I don't know what to believe."
For whatever it is worth, I recently became acquainted with a guy who played at OSU with Payton. He still talks to him every once in awhile, and he admitted that Payton really wanted to stay with GS but that GS couldn't afford him at that particular time, so he took the best offer he got. The feeling I got (with no actual evidence to back it up....other than what is transpiring) is that Payton and GS never completely gave up on each other. Current events seem to be playing out that way......
we can’t pay him. It was a great piece of business to get a first for someone that is about to walk in 5 months.
But we could pay Nurk 70million, Simon's 100 million? We gave Payton what $40 million? I lean towards voting for the Hart trade, but it's stupid to say the Blazers couldn't pay him, they've paid more for inferior players.
This story all over hoops hype. They say Portland could be fined but nothing about GS being fined if story doesn't pan out.
Norm Powell and Josh Hart are 2s that played 3 for us. I get shooting aint Josh's strength but he'd be an awesome SG. Unbelievable rebounder and one-man fastbreak
