Not everyone, but, unfortunately, a lot of the ones that do it get rewarded. Too many people like to swim in the drama. The 24-hour, get-it-out-there-first news cycle has really damaged good journalism, along with the bad pay and hours. People glorify the columnists and pundits over the actual reporters and no one knows the difference. It takes little time for someone to write 500 words of what they think ... they don't even need to be informed. But, you know, actually talking to people, sending messages, waiting for them to get back to you and then finding someone else to corroborate that source? That takes time and effort.
yeah...it really looks like Woj knows he stepped in it by basically being a PR flack for the Warriors and is busy trying to convince everyone he's not in the bag
They will sit him out a couple weeks to make a point and then he'll be "playing through the pain" just like he was here.
Man this ordeal has elevated Payton above Felton as my least favorite Blazer, too bad all of the knee jerk media ran with the story prior to actually gathering the facts. When all said and done if there isn’t any wrongdoing on Portlands end I sure hope these news breakers take a moment to apologize and own their mistakes.
...and to think I only took 4 advils before playing 18 holes of golf today, but I forgot to report this to the pro shop before teeing off
