Look at what he did last night off the bench shot 14 times and others off the bench shot no more than 6 times.
Over the years Ive heard it referred to as the number one scorer/first option off the bench.
    Which qualifies as 6 man

So we can get a player who’s not as good as Hart.

Your posting is greatly appreciated and I agree with a lot of the stuff you say, but I don't think most people want a forum where it's OK to call each other names.

He might have felt more like shooting if he was on a second team with not many other shooters, as he seems to be in NY.

I guess you don’t have as much faith in Mike Schmitz as I do lol. Well I guess we’ll see.

Hart over performed for 13 games last year too. No need to get a boner for him.

I guess he isn't hesitant to shoot threes anymore.

I guess you could read that into what I said if you squinted a little and tilted your head at an angle

what I meant to imply was I think Chauncey defined, to Hart, that his role was to be a glue guy in pushing transition, facilitating, attacking the basket, rebounding, and defense. My hunch is that Hart had that in mind when he was passed the ball and thought shooting was his last priority. Chauncey didn't tell him to pas up open shots, that was Hart trying to fit the defined role

But one that may a) develop into a better player and a better fit, and/or b) will play at 1/3 the price.

I just will have mad respect for Josh forever after his standing up for the Blazers staff and organization after being traded. That was so heartfelt and probably shut the Warriors up ..soon after they accepted the trade.

He is a great dude and the kinda guy every winning team would want on their roster. Don’t have to draw a play up for him, yet he still helps your team succeed.

No...thee money for Grant took the money for Hart off the table...they choose Grant...one of them would have walked for a payday and we needed the PF more than the undersized SF who was hesitant to shoot. Actually Hart will hit the market this offseason and if they could...I'm sure Portland would bring him back and I'm sure he'd love it. He looks happy with Brunson in NY. I wish him well.

Good for Hart. Hope he gets to stay in one place and not only play his Josh Hart things role but bring everything he can … like catch and shoot. For next season his cost will be outside of what Portland can do given other choices … Nas, Sharpe, Thybulle … and other needs.

You're acting like Grant was the PF when it was clearly Hart.
