Just want injury insurance around nurk/eubanks. We have a ton of winnable games. No reason not to go for it with 0 tax implications
Spotrac lists the Blazers' as currently having over $12.8M of space under the hard cap: I'm not sure what the implications of this are exactly relative to the buyout market. Thoughts?
I’m honestly uninterested in buyout targets at this point. Not advocating for tanking yet, but let’s just work with what we have. If we make the playoffs so we can get demolished in round 1, I mean cool I guess…at least we have all of our 1sts available again. If we fail to get in and are in range to land someone like Anthony Black in the draft, great. It’s hard to be disappointed in any season-ending scenario thinking about it that way.
What did Ibou do to his knee? Is he really injured? Tonight, on the 2nd of a back-to-back, would be the perfect time to get him a few minutes.
Stanley Johnson? He's between 6'5" and 6'8", so he's certainly the Blazers' type. Plus it would be fun to unite him with Justise Winslow after those two was jostling to be best SF in their draft their entire college season.
Not sure if he is the right fit at the moment but hope he makes it back to the NBA. I think he has paid his penance.
