Steve Clifford: “I think he’s a winning player. He plays both ends, and he’s shot the ball well there. I think he has the ability to defend primary scorers, which right now, if you want to talk about playoffs, that’s a big deal because teams play five out or four out and one in. He can guard those guys and make it hard on them, which not a lot of guys can. I think he’d be viewed across the league as a guy who does the little things. He’s a great teammate, and plays with a purpose and energy every night. There aren’t a lot of those guys.”
It is worrisome that Hart and Powell have been able to find success when traded. Would have loved to keep both.
The Clippers are built on sand. PG and Kawhi are shitty leaders. Kawhi was the best player on that Raptors team, but he damn sure wasn't the leader. They remind of the worst years of the Jail Blazers. A bunch of Robins with no Batman.
Come on, wizenheimer, you’re way too smart and versed in the CBA to know that’s not the issue with avoiding the LT this year. Nice use of the Monopoly image though.
Powell single handedly blew shots that let the Pelicans run them out of the playoffs last season...and fucked up our pick.... Norm hasn't had playoff success since the Raptors. Josh got traded to a great fit...both guys are coming off the bench on new teams after starting for previous teams...Josh was a no brainer trade given he could walk for more money than we could pay him.
Josh Hart looked massive playing against his former team. Portland is lacking players in the muscle & hustle category. Hart was going right through Blazers like sheets hanging from a clothesline.
Where would they rank on our roster? Dame Sharpe Grant Ant Hart Powell Watford Nurk Thybulle I'd rank the value of our players in that order.
Just really enjoyed watching Hart. If this team actually wanted to try and build a contender, you do it by pairing Dame with a complimentary player such as Hart, not an inferior version of himself in Ant/CJ.
Only 1 NBA team has posted a worse record then the Blazers since the Josh Hart trade. drum roll .,...... the Detroit Pistons
I thought the blazers had found a good fit at sg next to dame in hart. The should have traded anfernee Crawford instead.
